I´ve been reading your blog for awhile and it for no reason occurred to me to comment. That is totally ironic, because I´ve spent a lot of time over the past few months studying what it takes to make people comment on my own website. After reading a couple of your posts I guess it´s controversial topics that stir people´s emotions to the point where they can´t just ´let it go.´

Sharon, what a great post. Makes me want to figure out, and quickly, how to share your marching orders for nonprofits and corporations with all of those engaged in one side or the other of the embedded philanthropy coin. And how can we make it easier for consumers to know quickly and easily whether these guidelines have been followed? (Something like KnowMore.org comes to mind.) I'm not asking rhetorically. Time to go do some research... thanks for writing the kind of post that inspires that :)
