		<description><![CDATA[Since 5 years I live in Africa (Mozambique and Tanzania). It&#039;s very hard not to become too cynical about aid: the extremely comfortable homes of UN representitives etc and the local upper class versus the ongoing and even growing poverty of the mayority of the population. 
The article you (Sharon Schneider) wrote was in that sense a relief to read (and very well written). Not cynical (which also seems to be the fashion in the media now), but very human and thoughtfull.
